Today we're back at Charleston just hanging out by the ocean...

We took this picture to show Connie Meyer who made the back pack for Jan as a gift.

I took this picture of Jan and Fort Sumter in the background.
Fort Sumter is where the first shots of the civil war were fired.

Hard to see again, but in the distance is the USS Yorktown 10 aircraft carrier.
Also a harbor ferry is in view as well.

Here's where we chose to spend some time just taking it easy.
We read some and talked on the phone. Jan is talking with her sister, Susan.

Before heading to the beach to enjoy the sunset, we stopped by the Peninsula Grill to buy a famous coconut cake. It has won national acclaim on Food Network stations.

Not only will we enjoy the sunset, we will also enjoy the 12-layer coconut cake.
Yes, it was very good!

A little more history...

Not as many clouds for a less than spectacular sunset tonight.
But it still makes for quite a sight.

Distant clouds on the horizon, closes out our day.
